High profile companies are looking to Sheffield for modern, flexible office space. In the past, space was outdated and limited, and the city couldn’t meet demand. Local developer Velocity is all about Sheffield’s future. The scheme in central Sheffield is one of Yorkshire’s largest mixed use developments.
Set for completion in 2006, Velocity 1 (V1) will provide a striking development of 36,000 sq.ft. of self contained open plan Grade A quality office space over 4 floors, with 150 secure basement car parking spaces available in a mixed use residential/commercial development. The architecture is unique to Sheffield and will create a highly prestigious address in a dynamic and developing city centre location.
Following shortly on from V1, the developers are committed to providing a further two phases of commercial development.
Velocity 2 (V2) now has planning consent and is to go on site in early 2006, providing 67,000 sq.ft. of pure Grade A office space with a further phase, Velocity 3 (V3) following on to provide a further stand alone office building of 24,000 sq.ft.
These developments are planned as part of the Velocity brand for the site, which includes a further 310 luxury apartments set around two landscaped private open spaces/courtyards.
